Yup same here. I can be sitting in a station, or flying about and it happens. Its a weird disconnect problem too. Sometimes I know its about to happen (e.g. hit wallet and balance wont update) but sometimes Im still getting chat messages. Other times chat is working fine and if I try something like getting the channellist, it'll case me to disconnect. I've tried traceroute to the server and it always comes up as host unreachable (tho its probably doesn't return ping requests anyway.)
I pretty much disconnect every few minutes so. At a loss at this stage. Zero had changed setting wise on either my computer or network before this started happening. If you find a solution for this let me know :P

Out of interest, did you try a traceroute using pingplot? The problems Im having look like some isp is throttling the connection somewhere. Im prob way off, but Im at a total loss as to what to try so getting desperate :P

Anyway, problems are even worse now. Cant stay logged in for more than 5 minutes. I don't know if the C++ error and the disconnect are related or not (never had the C++ myself as far as I know). Been looking at the log files to see if I can get any info that might help but they only say "connection lost". Would love to see an official acknowledgment that is there a common problem people are suffering from. The worst part of situations like these just not knowing if anyone is looking into it.

It's a weird one alright. There are already some threads on the C++ issue, but I've never had it myself so I don't know. From my perspective they dont seem to be, as sometimes when I start Eve it will take a while before the server status info will come up.
The symptoms do seem like a network issue. Have you tried traceroute and if so can you reach the server? (server IP is 87.237.38.200 if you want to try). My trace always ends at 195.50.91.22 and after that it just says the host is unreachable.

I'm at a total loss then. Going to e-mail support as I don't have a huge amount of faith in the petition system and theres a long thread thats been going for days on these issues with no acknowledgment of these issues, so things dont look good.

Been messing about more. As was mentioned in another thread, the problem/part of the problem seems to be timing out while idle. if you do Ctrl-shift-alt M it'll bring up a monitor with a network tab. If you go mad browsing the market you'll see numbers for packets in going up and down. Stay idle for any short length of time and the packets in goes to nothing and soon after kaboom, connection lost.
